Best dressage scores
West Wilts: 11.5, for Clare Valendar and Porthall Molbert, who won BE90 section D. This is the best dressage score so far this year
Berkshire College: 20.5, scored by Eve Hobbs on Fivale Indian Art, winners of BE100 section H
Burgie: 21.3, for Morag Sutherland and The Silver Darling in BE80(T) section K — but they were eliminated in the showjumping
Kirkley Hall: 15.5, for Pallas Fire Trap, piloted by Natasha Burrows ot the head of BE90 section B
Speedy gonzales
1: number of pairs who beat the 5min 3sec novice optimum time at Burgie — Naidene Urquhart and Perihelion Peridot, fourth in the novice section
0: number of horses who finished inside the 4min 51sec intermediate optimum time at Burgie. The fastest was Limited Edition V, who had 11.6 time-faults with Euan Hammersley
And also…
0: number of finishers who showjumped clear in the eight-starter intermediate at Burgie — but two of the three non-finishers did go fault-free over the coloured poles
1: non-British winner at Berkshire College — Aussie Brook Staples, who took novice section D on Talos Dazzler
0: number of BE runs Kirkley Hall BE80(T) winner Business Time, ridden by Chris Fairs, had had before this event
2: number of open novice winners at West Wilts for H&H columnist Harry Meade — he took one with Weston IV and one with Tenareze, the Le Lion d’Angers double winner he took over this year
19: percentage of cross-country starters in the senior CCI3* at Bramham who went clear across country inside the time
2: number of fault-free showjumping rounds in the under-25 CCI3* at Bramham — from the winner, Holly Woodhead on DHI Lupison, and the USA’s Caroline Martin on Quantum Solace
